At sunset beautiful shades of orange and red are reflected from the almost vertical cliffaces in the surrounding mountains. The gravel road from Algeria to Clanwilliam leads through the farm and passes the 18-km long Clanwilliam dam. This dam is ideal for water sports and fishing. Clanwilliam is known for its Rooibostea and the cape-Dutch houses.
